City skyline at sunset - Macro

The sun sets over the New York City skyline. The tops of the buildings are visible in the last rays of warm light, with the spire of the Empire State Building picked out in soft gold, and the lower levels blur into dark shadows at the bottom of the photo. Above the buildings, the sky fades into a deep gray-blue.
